Syria, Russia, US - say peace, but its the calm before the storm

Despite claims of peace, the international transfer of weapons to the Middle East is rising dramatically. Analysts say the middle eastern kingdom overtook India, and along with the United Arab Emirates it imported more defense supplies than all of Europe.

Russian firepower has made Mr Assad more secure and his US supported armed opposition weaker. Assad said it would halt "combat operations" in line with the peace plan (truce / cease fire) announced by the US and Russia. But the opposition said its acceptance depended on Assad government forces ending sieges and air strikes of civilians.

Bashar al-Zoubi of the Yarmouk Army and Rebel commanders expressed doubts about this newest cease fire accord, saying it only provides cover for Assad government forces and Russian aircraft to continue attacking opposition-held areas. They say the Russian regime will use the excuse of fighting terrorism to openly target areas held by the revolutionaries.

The rebel factions (al-Qaeda / US) say their committed to ending Syrian bloodshed but warned that the acceptance of the truce is conditional; saying all parties must end sieges, halt aerial and artillery attacks, and release detainees. The Syrian government (Assad/Russia) later called a halt to combat operations ( but continued airstrikes???)



Turkey does not expect this ceasefire to stick in Syria as they point to the fact fighting has continued despite the accord. Air strikes, believed to have been carried out by Russian jets targeted roads into opposition-held eastern areas of the city of Aleppo. Turkey says it will defend its territorial integrity by shelling (YPG) armed group inside Syria near their borders and "if necessary" will hit back at any incoming fire even after the truce comes into force on February 27..

Saudi Arabia is seeing threats across three of its borders. To the east is Iran, still interfering in the affairs of other countries. To the south, Yemen, now the site of a Saudi-led coalition to push back the Houthi rebels. And to the north is Iraq and Syria, both deeply unstable. And yes Syria is the most pressing issue of the moment.

Syria's conflict has burst way beyond its own borders and is now spilling out onto the world stage. This upheaval has given new life to jihadism. The chaos in northern Syria has allowed ISIS a safe space to gather, organize and train its recruits, before dispatching them to cities around the Middle East and Europe. Without an end to the war, there will be no genuine end to the mutations of jihadism, of which ISIS is merely one incarnation. This has global implications

Saudi Arabia's end goal is clear; If Russia continues back the al-Assad regime, then there is no real peace offer because Assad "will be removed by force". This brings us back to the whole idea behind the ongoing military exercises, which involve land, air and naval forces from 20 countries, from Egypt and Sudan to Pakistan and Malaysia.

Northern Thunder is about showing, to adversaries in the region and a watching world beyond, that Saudi Arabia has the military capacity, the political will, and, crucially, the alliances to defend itself in any eventuality, both as a demonstration and as preparation.

The international transfer of weapons to the Middle East has risen dramatically over the past five years, with Saudi Arabia’s imports increasing by 275%. Overall, imports by other states in the Middle East increased by 61%. large deliveries of arms to the Middle East from the Uk are scheduled to continue. Elsewhere in the Middle East, arms imports by Qatar rose by 279% over the same period, and imports by the UAE rose by 35%. Egypt’s imports rose by 37%

Truce comes into force on February 27, ( 3 days later march 1st  ???? ) I'm not sure exactly what this sign means but a greater power seems to want me to put it out their. This could be my first prophetic message shared with the world. i wish my vision was clearer  !!!  could just be referring to something happening within march ???  

Will a ceasefire in Syria hold? Jubilee Bible 2000; They treat also the destruction of my people lightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. This truce may fall apart before this story even gets posted but if not i say this .. mark my words well

March is not just a month,
its also a military call to advance
March shall enter Syria as a roaring lion

We may witness the start of WW3 as soon as march 2016
But even worse is the fact that we are more likely to witness
